To assemble the unit, first raise the legs and lock them into position (click on the 'animated demonstration' button at bottom of page).


Next: upturn the unit, to reveal the serving table, which acts as a lid for the burner units.

The Universal oven may be used in conjunction with the CF85 for greater flexibility.


The 36 litre stock pot may be used with the CF85 as an optional item of equipment.


There are five recessed burners. Four are rated at 3.5kW each (two are shown without the heat deflector/drip tray). The single burner on the left is rated at 15kW.

The unit can be erected on-site without special training and be operational within minutes. This gives the Hawkmoor CF85 an unrivalled versatility, especially in covert situations and border placement. It can be carried to places where no trailer-mounted kitchen could gain access. Troops can be fed locally without compromise to their positions.

It is particularly suited to use by highly mobile field teams of all types, including military personnel, medical workers, scientific groups, film crews, surveyors and explorers, and is also ideal for use under emergency conditions resulting from war or natural disaster.

The CF85 is able to provide food and beverage preparation for up to 120 people and is supplied complete with a wide range of cooking containers and utensils. The unique design combines the merits of a compact, easily transportable unit when folded, with easy access to food preparation and cooking areas, and ample space for serving prepared food from the integral stainless steel table when operational.

Greater flexibility in catering numbers can be gained when it is used in combination with the CF83. It can also be used to give increased catering support to the CF84.
